Company Description

DRB-HICOM BERHAD is an investment holding company with investments in the automotive (including defense), services and property and construction segments. It operates in three segments: automotive, which is engaged in the manufacturing, assembly and sale of motor and military vehicles, including the sale of related spares and services; property and construction, which is engaged in property holding and development and construction work, and services, which is engaged in vehicle inspection, solid waste management, airport ground handling services and financial services. The Company provides defence-related work to the Malaysian Armed Forces. It wholly owns Defence Services Sdn. Bhd., which specialises in defence engineering works, including refurbishment, upgrading and upgrading of armoured vehicles. In March 2008, DRB-Hicom Berhad disposed of its entire equity interest in Drb-Hicom Information Technologies Sdn. Bhd., Hicom Network Services Sdn. Bhd. and Hicom Communications Sdn. Bhd.
